Chad W. Hammett, M.D. is an undergraduate from Baylor Medical School - UTMB in Galveston, TX. Dr. Hammett served his family medical residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He offers family medical care to all ages. Dr. Hammett also enjoys sports medicine. He is the team physician for the Lamar Women's Basketball team. Dr. Hammett enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. He has been married to his wife Deetra since 2001. They have two adorable children - Hannah and Devon. Dr. Hammett and Deetra also raise their nephew Clayton. Dr. Hammett was voted Dr. Congeniality (2009) and Physician of the Year (2010) by Christus St. Mary Hospital. He also received an award from Christus St. Mary Hospital for Excellent Patient Satisfaction (2010).
